The City of Delmenhorst is getting a Solar Energy Register.

Delmenhorst is an independent city in the Oldenburg region and is part of the Northwest Metropolitan Region. The city borders Bremen to the east and lies approximately 35 kilometers east-southeast of Oldenburg. With around 81,000 inhabitants, Delmenhorst is one of the ten largest cities in Lower Saxony.

To address climate change as a global issue, action must be taken at the local level. The City of Delmenhorst is rising to this challenge by establishing a Solar Energy Register in collaboration with Geoplex.
A Solar Energy Register from Geoplex supports this initiative by systematically identifying local solar energy potential and effectively raising citizens’ awareness regarding the use of solar energy. The Solar Energy Register thus serves as a vital tool for supporting the energy transition at the local level and driving it forward in a systematic manner. You can learn more about Solar Energy Register here.
We look forward to working with the City of Delmenhorst!
