Geoplex is creating a solar energy and green roof register for the District of Uelzen

The creation of a solar energy register is anchored in the integrated climate protection concept of the District of Uelzen and is now being implemented in this context. The aim of this measure is to support the population in expanding PV and solar thermal systems on their rooftops. Since green roof register suitably address the challenges of climate change, a green roof cadastre is also being developed. Even now, the approximately 92,000 residents of the district can look forward to the new applications that will be created in the coming weeks.

A solar energy register from Geoplex helps reveal the local solar potential in a targeted manner and effectively raise public awareness of the use of solar energy. The solar energy register is therefore an important tool for supporting and systematically advancing the energy transition at the local level. You can learn more about solar energy registers here.
With a green roof cadastre from Geoplex, homeowners can find out whether a green roof is possible on their house or garage. Based on the automatically detected roof sections of a building, each section is computationally assessed for its suitability for a green roof. You can learn more about green roof cadastres here.
We look forward to working with the District of Uelzen!
