Landshut is an independent city in southeastern Bavaria and the seat of the government of Lower Bavaria as well as the administrative center of the district of Landshut. With around 72,000 inhabitants, Landshut is the largest city in Lower Bavaria ahead of Passau and the second largest city in Eastern Bavaria after Regensburg. The regional center on the Isar River is the northeastern focal point of the Munich metropolitan region.

The city of Landshut wants to establish a central data hub via PlexMap Magazine and PlexMap Switchboard and is also relying on PlexMap for its own CityGML data management. In addition, PlexMap 3D is used for viewing. With PlexMap Planner, a tool for integrating and visualizing the city’s own urban development projects, drawings, and designs is also to be developed. Landshut also relies on PlexMap in the 2D area and has licensed PlexMap 2D for the development of web-based 2D information systems.

We look forward to working with Landshut!
