Sinsheim is a medium-sized town with 37,036 inhabitants in the northwest of Baden-Württemberg. First mentioned in 770, the town was once an Imperial City and later belonged to the Electoral Palatinate for many centuries. After Weinheim, it is the second-largest city in the Rhein-Neckar District and serves as a mid-sized regional center within the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region. Since January 1, 1973, Sinsheim has held the status of a major district town.

The City of Sinsheim aims to establish a central data hub using the PlexMap Magazine and the PlexMap Switchboard, and will also rely on PlexMap for its own CityGML data management. In addition, PlexMap 3D will be used for viewing purposes. With the PlexMap Planner, a tool will also be developed for integrating and visualizing the city’s own urban development projects, drawings, and designs.

We look forward to working with Sinsheim!
