Is a solar system on your roof worthwhile? What investment costs should you expect? What savings potential is there, and when would the investment pay for itself? The new solar cadastre of the Dingolfing-Landau district provides the answers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting now, residents of the Dingolfing-Landau district can check, free of charge and without obligation, whether their roofs are suitable for solar energy generation. With the solar cadastre, the district offers an innovative tool for assessing the suitability of roof surfaces for photovoltaics and solar thermal energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cadastre is based on laser scan data and calculates solar radiation, taking into account factors such as roof pitch, orientation, and shading. Building owners thus receive an initial assessment of the suitability of their roofs for solar energy. After selecting a building on the map, solar collectors and photovoltaic modules can be virtually placed in various arrangements. In addition, electricity consumption, heating systems, and energy-intensive devices such as heat pumps and wall boxes can be individually adjusted. This makes it possible to calculate the profitability of the solar systems and to enable a well-founded decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final step, the solar cadastre lists certified specialist companies in the region. However, it should be noted that the exact costs and feasibility on site\u2014such as checking roof statics or monument protection issues\u2014must be verified by a professional company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Companies that wish to offer their services in the solar cadastre can contact the district development office at Klimaschutz@landkreis-dingolfing-landau.de<\/a>. The district\u2019s climate protection management is also available for any questions regarding the solar cadastre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith the solar cadastre, we are giving citizens a valuable tool to further advance the expansion of solar energy in our region. It is another step toward a sustainable and climate-friendly future for the district of Dingolfing-Landau. The solar cadastre is a measure of the climate protection concept adopted in 2023 and supports the expansion of renewable energies in the district. The goal is to harness the existing solar energy potential and achieve climate neutrality by 2040.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
