Reutlingen is the largest economic center between Stuttgart and Lake Constance. Economically speaking, Reutlingen belongs to the southern part of the European Metropolitan Region of Stuttgart and, together with the neighboring city of T\u00fcbingen, forms the joint regional center for the Neckar-Alb region. The city is a modern and dynamic service and industrial center with 115,000 residents. Around 5,000 companies are located in Reutlingen.
