The Geoplex Team
Geoplex is a spin-off of the Institute of Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing (IGF), University of Osnabrück, Germany. Since the business foundation in September 2009, Geoplex successfully developed a wide range of services in the fields of photovoltaic, consulting and planning systems. Our main products in the segment of planning systems are interactive Solar Energy Registers and 3D Information Systems. After having collected notable experience in processing Airborne Laserscanner data Geoplex is able to derive all products automatically and directly from Laserscanner data. The significantly reduced processing times offers cost benefits for our customers compared to manual or semi-automated procedures.
In the field of photovoltaics Geoplex offers a comprehensive service: From the first viewing to a comprehensive planning to the turnkey Installation of your photovoltaic system. Here, too, Geoplex uses 3D geodata: As a free component of our services you receive an informative 3D-planning including a shadow analysis of your rooftop. In addition to this, we also provide a comprehensive calculation of profitability. All in all we set great store by a balanced price-performance ratio. To offer you the best price independent from the market, we generally are independent from specific manufacturers. The installation is realized by local specialized craftsmen, like roofer or electricians, with which Geoplex cultivates a long-term and close cooperation.
In the consulting sector we first and foremost offer our know-how of geoinformation and photovoltaic to PV companies and also to the public sector. The training can be about the optimization of your own value chain by the use of geoinformation systems and geodata or can deal with surveys and later valorization of the solar potential of the municipal roofs. Our In-house training are tailored to your special needs, just as you wish.

Geoplex received the award for innovative business start-ups of the University of Osnabrück and the Gründercampus Niedersachsen. Besides Geoplex is the winner of the GeoBusiness AWARD 2009 of the federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, Germany.
